The Indonesia – Australia Digital Forum was held on the 31 Jan – 1 Feb 2018, sponsored by the Australian Embassy (Austrade) – Jakarta and other key organisations. The event was where top minds from both nations converge to share ideas and build ties across their vibrant digital economies. With representatives from finance to government; health to cyber security, each nation was there to inform, learn and collaborate. Cartula, a rising leader in digital healthcare, was invited as an Australian delegate company.
Chairman John Lane and CEO Bill Vargas travelled to Jakarta to showcase the latest in health technology, with a forward-thinking approach on how organisations manage their clinical systems and the changes that will have to be made to meet future demands. An intimate Health panel was assembled at the Fairmont Hotel where industry leaders converging to head the conversation on digital health. With over 400 delegates from both corporate and government sectors in attendance, it was here that Cartula would introduce themselves to the world stage.
While John connected with Indonesian interests on the floor, Bill gave a short presentation on the HealtheCare (HeC) clinical system and the parallel mobile and security technologies being spearheaded by Cartula, Bill would go on to participate in discussion about the benefits of the digital HealtheCare, cyber security and mobile clinical solutions with the room.
Overall the event was a resounding success for Cartula, marking its first formal introduction to the Indonesian Health Market and laying the foundation for ongoing relationships with Telkom, TelkonTelstra and the Indonesian Government Executives. It was also where John and Bill first met Dr Erfen Gustiawan Suwangto, the current CEO of Cartula Health Indonesia.
